Audit & Assurance

Our auditing services, undertaken by experienced, relevant staff can help validate your business’ financial statements in a cost-effective manner.

Ensuring your business’ statements are accurate and reliable

Our specialist audit team has had both national and international experience in senior positions in the larger accountancy practices. Members of the team have worked in Australia and the United Kingdom on multinational public listed companies, private companies, co-operatives, licensed clubs, superannuation funds, trust entities and other audit assignments.

What can you expect from our auditing services?

In planning our audit assignment, we take great care to gain an intimate understanding of the operation of your business, the industry and the environment in which it operates. Based on this understanding, we assess controls and the risks of material misstatement of the financial reports, including those caused by fraud. We then design and perform our audit procedures as part of our auditing services to address those risks as they specifically relate to your business.

We also endeavour to match the needs of the assignment with personnel with the relevant audit experience. This causes minimal disruption to the client’s staff as the audit personnel have a good working knowledge of the industry prior to the commencement of any auditing services carried out by our team.

The audit team, comprising of principals and managers who are directly and actively involved in the carrying out of the audit assignment, also have a good working knowledge of the tax system. This knowledge of the tax system allows them to appreciate any tax problem or tax planning opportunities that may arise during the audit.

What experience do we have?
